The Ohio State football program got a big win on the field last night. They got another big win today on the recruiting trail, landing a five-star cornerback.

The Ohio State football program is riding high after their big upset victory over Clemson. They will play for a national title on January 11th against Alabama. After that big win last night, they grabbed another one on the recruiting trail today.

Ohio State nabbed five-star cornerback Jaheim Singletary out of Jacksonville Florida. Singletary chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, Florida, and Clemson. Singletary is 6’1 170 pounds and is the fifth-best cornerback in the country and the tenth best player overall in the class of 2022.

Singletary is a very physical corner who loves to jam at the line of scrimmage. He doesn’t let receivers get very far away from him at any point. He also posses very good ball skills and can grab picks when the ball is coming towards him.

Singletary becomes the third five-star prospect to commit to the Buckeyes in the class of 2022. He joins number one overall recruit Quinn Ewers and number one overall receiver Caleb Burton. Singletary also signaled that once he committed, there will be no de-committing for any reason.

The Buckeyes continue to dominate on the recruiting trail. Kerry Coombs has always been a great recruiter in the secondary and he continues to show that he is. This class is shaping up to be perhaps the best class in the history of Ohio State football.
