It’s finally almost here. Will the Ohio State football team get their revenge on Clemson? Or will the game have a similar result to last year?

All of the Ohio State football players have been waiting for today all year long. It’s their chance to get the revenge they have been seeking. They have an extremely talented team. It’s a team that is extremely motivated. Is it enough to beat Clemson in the Sugar Bowl?

The Buckeyes should run the ball more in the first half than they did against Northwestern. That will allow them to dictate the pace early and keep Trevor Lawrence off the field. Trey Sermon should get a heavy workload early in this game. Balance is the key for Ohio State.

Justin Fields is still the most talented player the Buckeyes have on offense. He won’t have Harry Miller up front to block for him, but he has been the worst offensive lineman the Buckeyes have had anyway. They won’t miss him very much.

Fields needs some easy throws early on to get a rhythm. Then he can start taking deep shots on play-action passes. Chris Olave‘s return will be huge in this one. He has great chemistry with Fields and gives Ohio State a nice one-two punch with him and Garrett Wilson.

On defense, the Buckeyes will be down a starter on the defensive line. I can’t share who it is right now, but I will right before kickoff. It won’t be a huge loss though. The two defensive tackles are still there, and Tommy Togiai and Haskell Garrett will be a big part of Ohio State’s gameplan.

The secondary is going to be the biggest question mark for Ohio State. They have had struggles at times this year. They aren’t going to be able to completely shut down Clemson’s offense. But if they can minimize big plays and slow them down, that should be enough.

Game Prediction: Ohio State 31 Clemson 27

I truly believe that this will be one of the most motivated Buckeye teams we have seen in recent memory. They have dealt with what happened a year ago all season long. They will come out with a fire in their belly and should be able to close the deal this time.

dark. Next. Why Ohio State will beat Clemson

This is going to be a close one throughout. It’s going to be nerve-wracking. Hold on tight because it’s going to be a bumpy ride tonight.
