The Ohio State football team has already signed all 21 verbally committed players to it’s 2021 recruiting class. Here are three under the radar type players who will surprise.

Head coach Ryan Day and recruiting director Mark Pantoni set the bar high in 2021. Signing all of its recruiting class by noon on early signing day, this has a chance to become an all-time great class.

Currently, the Buckeyes sit as the No. 2 ranked class in the country only behind Alabama. Ohio State is still in on five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau who would tip the scale in Ryan Day’s favor into having the top class.

With five five-star players and 12 top 100 national recruits according to 247Sports, it’s easy for some players at the bottom of the class to get over-looked. Here are three players that are undervalued for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

No. 3: Sam Hart, TE

Sam Hart is the No. 390 rated player in the 2021 class and the No. 15 overall tight end. Hailing from Aurora, Colorado, Hart was not highly talked about for Ohio State in this class. But he will play a very important role moving forward for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State could lose its top three tight ends from this roster in the offseason, making Hart’s signing and development extremely important. Kevin Wilson will have to get him up to speed very quickly.

Lettermen Row’s Jeremy Birmingham compared him to former Buckeye tight end Nick Vannett, who is having a very good NFL career. Hopefully, he is correct in his assessment.

Hart is a gifted athlete as he won the state heavyweight wrestling championship in Colorado.  That type of athleticism will serve him well as he transitions to Columbus. Look for Hart to make an impact early in his Buckeye career.
