Several Ohio State football players on the offensive side of the ball received awards from the conference today, solidifying that they are the best team in the conference.

The Ohio State football team has an incredibly potent offense. That’s why none of their games have been particularly close except for one. That offensive talent has been recognized today by the conference as several Buckeyes took home awards.

On the All-Big Ten team, Justin Fields, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Josh Myers, Thayer Munford, and Wyatt Davis were all selected to the First team. Master Teague and Nicholas Petit-Frere were selected to the Second Team, and Harry Miller was named All-Third Team.

Looking at the Buckeyes’ roster, that’s almost every single starter named as one of the best players in the conference at their respective position. It’s not surprising at all either. Some of these guys took home individual Big Ten awards as well.

Fields was named the Graham-George Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year as well as the Griese-Brees Quarterback of the Year. He is only the fourth player in conference history to be named the Offensive Player of the Year twice in their career.

Davis was named the Rimington-Pace Offensive lineman of the year. This award may have been given out on reputation, as in my opinion, Davis took a bit of a step back this season. Nonetheless, he is honored as the best in the conference and very well still might be.

What might be more surprising is not a single player from TTUN was given any honors. It just shows how wide of a gap there is between the Buckeyes and TTUN. It also shows why they were afraid to play the Buckeyes despite so few COVID cases within their program.

It stands to reason that more Buckeyes on the defensive side of the ball will receive some honors as well.
