Ohio State beats TTUN again, this time in fandom

Ohio State is used to beating TTUN on the football field. Now they beat them with fandom, which we knew was the case anyway.
Ohio State has dominated The Game for the last 20 years or so. The game has only been close once since the last Buckeye loss in 2011. It’s been complete domination on the field for the Buckeyes. Now we know they dominate them off the field too.
With the release of the FanSided 250, we know that the Buckeyes rank higher in fandom than TTUN. Ohio State comes in at 45th overall in the world of fandom that encompasses, sports, music, movies, gaming, and TV. TTUN meanwhile comes in at 112th overall.
The FanSided 250 takes into account social media follows, a fan vote, and the number of searches for a particular thing. The Buckeyes rank high on all of those metrics. It also takes into account celebrity fans, which the Buckeyes have Lebron James as a huge fan and who is a huge figure in his own right.
As a life-long Buckeye fan, it doesn’t surprise me to see Ohio State ranked higher than TTUN in this. The Buckeyes are in good shape to keep this fandom ranking higher than them for a long time too seeing as the Bucks are one win away from crumbling TTUN’s program.

This is just another win in a long line of wins for the Buckeyes over TTUN. If things go well, it won’t be the only one they get this week. That is assuming The Game is still played on Saturday of course. It’s anyone guess on whether or not that actually happens.
