Ohio State always puts a ton of talent into the NFL. This week was just another example of why teams love Buckeyes as several of them played well.

Ohio State is an NFL pipeline. That has been true for the last 30 or so years and has been more true in the last ten. The Buckeyes have accumulated and groomed so much talent. Teams love drafting these players and having them excel for them.

Several of them played well again in Week 10 of NFL action. We start with Malcolm Jenkins of the New Orleans Saints. Jenkins has been in the league since 2009 and has been a valuable player wherever he has been. He played well yesterday, recording 5 tackles, .5 tackles for loss, and 2 pass breakups.

His teammate Marshon Lattimore also had a good game. He too had five tackles and was able to lock down the 49ers’ receivers. These guys helped the Saints to a 27-13 win over the 49ers. They are one of the top teams in the NFC so far.

Jeff Okudah continues to play well in his rookie season with the Detroit Lions. Okudah had 3 tackled and a pass breakup in the Lions’ 30-27 victory over the Washington Football Team. Chase Young on the other side had two tackles for Washington.

Denzel Ward had himself a nice game for the Cleveland Browns. He had 5 tackles in the Browns’ 10-7 win over Houston. Ward continues to be the best defensive back for the Browns and has shown people that he was worthy of being the fourth overall pick in the draft.

All of these Buckeyes have been a key part of their respective teams. Ohio State clearly does an excellent job of preparing their players for success at the next level. That’s why more and more top recruits have chosen to play in Columbus over the last few years.
