No. 3: Ohio State 44, Indiana 23

Is Tom Allen and Indiana ready for prime time? Not quite yet. Allen has done a remarkable job of turning this program around over his tenure and has this team believing in his system. To say that the Indiana Hoosiers are a top ten ranked team is crazy.

Just a few short years ago, Indiana was one of the laughing stock programs in major college football. And after a messy divorce with now Buckeye offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson, Allen has his program on the verge of year in and year out respectability.

But are the Hoosiers ready to knock off the Buckeyes? The answer here is no. Ohio State is vastly superior talent-wise at just about every position on the field and Indiana is still a few playmakers away from being able to challenge Ohio State to an upset.

Pennix Jr. and this Hoosier offense should be able to move the ball a bit on this Ohio State defense but they won’t be able to put the ball in the end zone enough to hang with the Buckeye offensive juggernaut.

This Scarlet and Grey defense is clearly trying to be one of those bend-but-don’t-break defenses that capitalizes on turnovers. I think the Ohio State defense will be able to get a few in this one that will lead to some easy points for the offense.

Ohio State moves on undefeated 44 to 23 as Vegas nails the 21 point line.
