Ohio State takes on Rutgers tonight at 7:30. Rutgers needs all the help they can get in this one, and they won’t get it from the weather.

Ohio State has their second straight night game in a row when they take on Rutgers in the Shoe. They were able to take care of Penn State last week at night with ease. They shouldn’t have too many issues with Rutgers this week either, especially with how perfect the weather will be.

The temperature at kickoff will still be 60 degrees. It will only drop to about 54 by the time the game is over too. That is the perfect temperature for football and very warm for this time of year. Neither team should have issues catching the ball in that temperature.

Wind won’t be a factor either. There will just be a slight breeze all night, no more than 5 miles per hour. It should be absolutely excellent weather for both teams. That favors Ohio State since they are the much more talented team. Rutgers was hoping for worse conditions.

Justin Fields shouldn’t have any problems throwing the ball tonight either. Expect him to have another big game tonight. Rutgers’ best chance is to send the house on him every play and hopes he makes a mistake. Otherwise, Fields is going to carve them up.

dark. Next. Ohio State vs. Rutgers: How to watch

It would be a great night to go to an Ohio State football game if fans were allowed. But sadly in the age of the pandemic, they are not. Maybe next year we can luck out and have great weather this late into the season again.
