This is something I keep harping on, but it cannot be overstated. Wisconsin just had their season wrecked because of COVID, and the Buckeyes can’t afford to have it happen to them. The Buckeyes can probably survive most other games without top players. This isn’t one of them.

There aren’t any Ohio State football players that have been infected with the virus as far as we know, and that goes back to when the season was canceled. The Buckeyes need to keep that perfect record going this week as well.

Ryan Day has made it a point to explain to his team just how important it is to be extra careful so that they don’t get sick. He also mentioned that the quarterbacks are working out individually so that if one gets it, the others also won’t get taken down with it.

This is something that is going to be a theme all season long. It also might be the only thing that can keep Ohio State from winning this weekend. They simply have too much talent. Penn State just doesn’t have the horses that the Buckeyes do.

As long as Ohio State takes care of these three keys, they will win the game on Saturday. Then they will be one step closer to a Big Ten title and a berth in the College Football Playoff.
