If you are in a state that allows legal sports betting, you might be inclined to bet on Ohio State football games. Here are the lines for their game on Saturday against Nebraska.

Ohio State football comes back to face Nebraska in the Shoe on Saturday at noon. This is a game that the Buckeyes have been waiting for and preparing for all season long. Going into this game, no one is giving the Cornhuskers a chance, and that includes Vegas.

This game line has moved since it first came out. At first, the Buckeyes were 21.5 point favorites. Now, according to The Action Network, things have changed. Ohio State is getting three more points now and is favored by 24.5. Some places are even listing them as 26 point favorites.

There is a good reason for this. Ohio State destroyed Nebraska a year ago in Lincoln 48-7, and that was with fans in a night game atmosphere. Even though there are no fans in Columbus, the Buckeyes still have a lot more talent than the Cornhuskers.

The more interesting line to me is the over/under. That currently sits at 67.5 with most sportsbooks. That is a much tougher line to bet on because this is the first game that either team has played after a weird offseason. The weather also doesn’t look great right now, although rain is no longer in the forecast.

If the weather gets dicier towards kickoff, it could be a recipe for bettors to take the under. The reason the line is so high to start is that Ohio State’s offense is just so darn good. That will be a theme all year long no matter who they play.

No matter who you bet for or against, make sure you do it responsibly. It’s good to have the ability to bet on Big Ten football though!
