Now that Ohio State will get a season in 2020, it gives plenty of Buckeyes a chance to increase their draft stock. Here is how some of those players could be affected by a good or bad season.

Our worst fears were not imagined this Fall as the Big Ten decided after all that it made sense for the conference to play football. It’s especially exciting to see players like Justin Fields and Shaun Wade, who were so outspoken about wanting to play, get their chance to play one final year in Columbus.

Both of those players could have opted out and been top picks in next year’s NFL Draft. A few other players could have as well. But everyone decided to come back in pursuit of a national championship and to increase their draft stock as well.

All of these players are also aware that a bad season might sink their stock. If anyone gets hurt, they might fall a few rounds. They all are taking that risk to get a shot at redemption. All of these players are also confident in the tape they have already put out there to NFL scouts.

Let’s go ahead and look at some Buckeye players and see how a good or bad season could affect their draft stock ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft. We start with the star quarterback who will be chasing a championship as well as individual glory.
