It was a rough week 2 for several former Ohio State football players, as there were some injuries all around the league that took several Buckeyes out of the game.

Ohio State has sent a bunch of players to the league over the last few years. A lot of them have done a lot of good things so far. Unfortunately, week 2 of the 2020 season will be a week a lot of former Buckeyes want to forget, as it was an injury-riddled week.

Several Buckeyes suffered significant injuries on Sunday, including two who play for the Colts. Parris Campbell suffered a significant knee injury on the second play from scrimmage against the Vikings. The team fears he tore his ACL. It’s a shame for a second-year player who suffered so many injuries a year ago as a rookie.

Malik Hooker, who also plays for the Colts, also suffered a significant injury. He left in the second half with an Achilles injury. This is an injury that I actually did not see. I’m a Colts fan, so I watch all their games. The team fears he tore his Achilles, so he would be done for the season too.

Nick Bosa is another former Ohio State football player who suffered a big injury. He had to be carted off the field as well, and the team thinks he tore his ACL too. The 2019 Defensive Rookie of the Year would be a big loss for a 49ers team that made the Super Bowl a year ago.

Dre’Mont Jones also got hurt on Sunday. He suffered a knee injury and was ruled out for the rest of the game. It’s unclear how much time he will miss, but it was another injury for a former Ohio State player.

Michael Thomas is already expected to miss time with a high ankle sprain, so former Buckeyes have been infected with the injury bug worse than I’ve ever seen it. It’s a shame to see this happen, but everyone knows it’s a part of the game.

Hopefully, all of these guys can recover fully from these injuries and return stronger than ever.
