Ohio State and Michigan will renew their rivalry in 2020, but when should “The Game” between the Buckeyes and Wolverines take place?

It has been 8 straight years that Ohio State has beaten Michigan in football. 8 straight years of dominance with score becoming more and more lopsided. With recruiting rankings swinging towards Ohio State, there was no reason to think that those beatings would stop anytime soon. That was before the Big Ten shut down the season and left the Buckeyes and Wolverines on the outside of the college football world.

With the Big Ten reversing course and electing to play a season in 2020, Ohio State keeps its dreams alive. Step one every year is to beat Michigan. The Buckeyes and Wolverines will get that chance this year, but the question of when will remain until an adjusted schedule is put out.

Before Ohio State can circle a trip to the Big Ten Championship or College Football Playoffs, they will count down until they play Michigan.

Here are three options that the schedulers could choose to put the biggest game of the year for the Big Ten. There are pros and cons to each option, but these are the three that make the most sense.
