Kevin Wilson, Offensive Coordinator

Kevin Wilson is ready to lead a program of his own once more. After three seasons on the job with the Buckeyes, Wilson will be a sought after commodity next offseason.

One of the orginators of the spread offense during his time at Northwestern and Oklahoma as offensive coordinator, Wilson went on to become a head coach at Indiana University in 2011. He lead the Hoosiers to a 26-47 record during his five seasons at the helm.

He did seem to get the program on track in 2015 and 2016 as they were bowl eligible both seasons. He parted ways after the 2016 season amidst allegations of player misconduct, something that he has refuted publicly.

But after joining the Ohio State staff in 2017, Wilson has helped engineer an offensive juggernaut that continues to get better every season he has been on staff. After nearly missing the Colorado State job last offseason, expect for Wilson to land a lower level Power Five conference job after the conclusion of next season.

Wilson seems to be open to the idea of being a head coach again while also being content in Columbus. This from Eleven Warriors before last year’s Fiesta Bowl:

"“If it’s meant to be, maybe you get that opportunity, but I’m not living my life to get that opportunity right now,” Wilson said during an interview session at the Fiesta Bowl on Tuesday. “It’s coaching these kids, at a great place and trying to win as many games and keep pushing this program forward to greatness.”"
