Two weeks ago, the lives of 10 former Ohio State football players were changed forever. Now those young men can transform the teams that drafted them.

Although training camp will be altered in 2020, with the schedule now released, teams around the NFL will begin to prepare for the road ahead. For the seven teams that drafted a player from the NFL factory that is the Ohio State football program, their futures could be forever changed. But of the 10 Buckeyes selected, which ones will have the biggest impact?

DE Chase Young, 2nd Overall, Washington Redskins

As a generational talentChase Young is not only an example of the players that Ohio State and defensive line coach Larry Johnson produce in Columbus, but as a hometown talent from nearby Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Young has a chance to become the heart of the Washington Redskins for years to come.

With the motivation that comes from playing at home, the skills and acumen that Young brings to Washington, D.C., “The Predator” has the potential to be the player around which a Super Bowl defense is built around.

Stats aren’t everything, but what Young brings to the Redskins is phenomenal. Throughout his career as a Buckeye, Young racked up 30.5 sacks, 98 total tackles (40.5 for a loss) and 9 forced fumbles (7 of which came in 2019 alone).

The pressure that comes from Young charging around the edge will terrorize NFL offensive lines for years and with another Buckeye at quarterback (Dwayne Haskins), could this be the start of a run at Super Bowl No. 4 in Washington, D.C.?

Although the next Buckeye was a third round pick he fell into an excellent situation.
