Ohio State Football: What an NFL team full of Buckeyes would look like
By Ben Swanger
OTs: Taylor Decker, Jamarco Jones, Isaiah Prince, Branden Bowen
The two starters at the tackle position would be Taylor Decker and Jamarco Jones. Decker has been the Detroit Lions starting left tackle for four seasons. He protects Matthew Stafford’s blind side and he would do the same for Haskins here. Jones saw his first action as a starter in 2019 for the Seattle Seahawks and appeared in 15 games.
Isaiah Prince played in four games for the Miami Dolphins after being a 2019 sixth round selection. Branden Bowen just signed an undrafted rookie deal with the Carolina Panthers.
Guards: Pat Elflein, Andrew Norwell, Michael Jordan
Since Pat Elflein entered the league in 2017 he has been a starter. Elflein started his first two seasons for the Minnesota Vikings at center then moved to left guard in 2019.
Andrew Norwell has been a starting left guard his entire career. In 2017 he earned All-Pro honors as a member of the Panthers.
Michael Jordan was a fourth round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2019 and he started nine games as a rookie and now he gets to protect Joe Burrow.
Centers: Corey Linsley, Billy Price
Corey Linsley has been the Green Bay Packers starting center since he entered the league in 2014. As one of the league’s top snappers he gets the slight nod as starter over Billy Price. Price was a first round selection by the Bengals in 2018 and has started 18 games in his two seasons.
Moving to the more dominant side of the ball.
