Sophomore Zach Harrison:

Zach Harrison is a promising sophomore that could provide the most potential. As a true freshman in 2019 Harrison played the second most snaps at the defensive end position for Ohio State. He tallied 24 total tackles, 5 for loss and 3.5 sacks.

Harrison was the No. 1 player from the state of Ohio coming out of high school and the No. 1 defensive end in the country.

ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren wrote the following on Harrison in an article that highlighted 25 breakout players to watch for in 2020.

"Harrison had the opportunity to learn from Chase Young this season but got a chance to start when Young was suspended late in the season. Harrison took the opportunity and finished with 3.5 sacks and five tackles for loss, with 24 total tackles on the season. With Young off to the NFL, Harrison will be counted on even more in 2020 and could be the next great defensive end in a long line of excellent linemen to come through Ohio State."

Keep an eye out for Zach Harrison to quickly turn into “Sack” Harrison.

Now a look at a player who was a highly ranked defensive tackle as a recruit who has proven he is more suited to playing on the edge.
