Since Ryan Day took over the Ohio State football program he has hit one home run after another. His newest commit is one who will scare QBs.

Ryan Day just keeps loading up the Ohio State football team with outstanding recruits. With the addition of his latest commit opposing quarterbacks in the near future will probably be a little nervous in the pocket.

Tunmise Adeleye took to Twitter to announce he will be playing for the Buckeyes. The defensive end plays his high school ball for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and is listed at 6 ft. 3, 240 pounds. He is ranked as the 4th best SDE and the No. 41 overall player in the 2021 class.

He joins two other outstanding defensive linemen in the class.

Before we look at the other linemen who could wreak havoc let’s look at Adeleye’s highlights. You will see why he is ranked so high.

Now a look at the other two players in the outstanding trio.

Jack Sawyer is 6 ft. 5, 220 pounds and is a local recruit from Pickerinton, Ohio. He is ranked as both the 3rd best SDE and overall player in the 247Sports Composite.

Mike Hall is a 6 ft. 3, 290 pound defensive tackle from Streetsboro, Ohio. The DT is ranked the 7th best at his position and the No. 92 overall player.

I have called Larry Johnson “The Magician” in the past because he can move players around the line to find the right spot for them, and take three star recruits and make them outstanding players. And when he has college ready players who are highly ranked, look out.

Just think how he developed the Bosa brothers and Chase Young. Don’t you think the legendary defensive line coach isn’t excited having two of the top four defensive ends and the No. 7 tackle in the 2021 class to work with?

Once these three players spend time in Mickey Marotti’s strength and conditioning program, and with coach Johnson teaching them techniques to get off the ball, they could become a special trio. Adding Adeleye to the 2021 recruiting class to go along with two other terrific defensive linemen is definitely a home run for Ryan Day.
