With the NFL draft soon coming up, lets take a look back at the Ohio State football team’s best NFL prospects coming out of school.

The Ohio State University has produced a number of excellent draft prospects throughout the years. From Heisman trophy winners to All-Americans, Ohio State has always been a hotbed for NFL talent.

With the NFL Combine less than two weeks away and the NFL Draft right around the corner, let us take a look back at some of Ohio State’s best NFL drat prospects.

No. 5: Nick Bosa

Nick Bosa gets the nod here at No. 5 as he was the second overall selection of the 2019 NFL Draft. The former five-star recruit, Bosa was seen as a top NFL Draft pick the moment he stepped onto campus at Ohio State.

Bosa’s career numbers at Ohio State were somewhat hampered by injuries as he missed most of his junior season due to a core injury. But his 17.5 sacks while being a member of Larry Johnson’s rushmen unit was enough for the San Francisco 49ers to select him as a top two NFL Draft pick. Bosa earned NFL defensive rookie of the year honors oh his way to a Super Bowl appearance.

No. 4: Chase Young

Back to back seasons an Ohio State defensive end is expected to be selected No. 2 overall. Chase Young is a freak athlete who had a major on field impact during his time as a Buckeye. With 30.5 career sacks and 9 forced fumbles, whoever selects Young in this upcoming draft will be getting a true defensive playmaker.

The 2019 Big Ten defensive player of the year has scouts drooling over his combination of size, quickness and technique. Here is what walterfootball.com had to say about Young:

"There is no doubt that Young is a special player. When watching Ohio State, he jumps off the screen with his excellent skill set and his ability to cause havoc in the backfield. For the NFL, he looks like a No. 1 pass-rusher who could be a consistent double-digit sack producer with Pro Bowl potential early in his NFL career."

With such a high ceiling, Young comes in here as our No. 4 all time Ohio State draft prospect.
