Many think the Kansas City Chiefs are set up to win multiple Super Bowls in the near future. Drafting one Ohio State football player will increase the odds of that happening.

The Kansas City Chiefs led by NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes are Super Bowl Champions after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 31-20. By adding one Ohio State football player to the roster the Chiefs may get on a run of Super Bowl titles.

With the end of Tom Brady’s career in sight, the Patriots’ dynasty over the past decade looks to be coming to an end. The Brady-Belichick era has resulted in 19 winning seasons, nine Super Bowl appearances and six Super Bowl victories.

After a NFL MVP and Super Bowl win before the age of 25, the Mahomes era has officially commenced. On the defensive side of the ball, the Chiefs defense led by Frank Clark and Tyrann Mathieu were a top 10 defense in the league in total yards allowed.

The Chiefs air-raid is the best in the league. With Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman on the outside, Mahomes has the dynamic combination of both speed and size at the wide receiver position. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is a huge target for this Chiefs offense and the most productive receiver this season. With 97 receptions, 1,229 yards and 5 touchdowns, Kelce makes this Chiefs offense difficult to contain.

Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach and Head Coach Andy Reid have all the pieces set in place to undergo a Chiefs dynasty for the next decade except for one: a running back.

In the regular season, the Chiefs rushed for over 100 yards only twice. The inconsistency of running backs LeSean McCoy and Damien Williams could not produce an effective run game for this electrifying Chiefs offense.

Mahomes was the leading rusher in both the Divisional and Conference Championship playoff games this postseason against the Texans and Titans respectively.

With the 32nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chiefs can select their missing piece to establish their dynasty for the next decade: J.K. Dobbins.

Projected to be a late-first rounder, Dobbins has everything needed to complete this Chiefs offense. His vision, elusiveness and speed makes him a three down back.

His ability to pass protect and his soft hands make him an immediate and reliable receiving threat as well. The effort, playmaking ability and football IQ that Dobbins would bring to this offense would solidify this Chiefs offense as the best in the NFL.

With Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman and J.K. Dobbins on offense, combined with a top-10 defense, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be playing for the Lombardi Trophy for years to come.
