Last week we listed three players on the Ohio State Football team’s defense who could be All-Americans in 2020. Here are three players on the offensive side of the ball who could be.

The Ohio State offense is brining back a group of extremely talented players. Wyatt Davis, J.K. Dobbins, Justin Fields and Jonah Jackson were all named to various All-American team in 2019. With Davis and Fields set to return, Ohio State will be looking at other players to step up and fill the void of losing two All-American players in JK Dobbins and Jonah Jackson.

For the sake of argument it is pretty clear to everyone that quarterback Justin Fields and offensive lineman Wyatt Davis will be on everyone’s short list for pre-season All-American picks. So for this article we will focus on other players who could make the cut. With that being said let’s get started.

Chris Olave, wide receiver

Chris Olave had a stellar 2019 season for the Buckeyes, leading the team with 49 receptions for 849 yards and 12 scores. And with Ohio State losing Bin Victor, KJ HIll and Austin Mack, Olave should be targeted a lot more for the 2020 season.

Olave should come into the 2020 campaign with a massive chip on his shoulder from taking the blunt of the criticism for breaking off his route in the end zone at the end of the Clemson game. Here is what Ryan Day had to say about Olave in the aftermath of the play, via Nathan Baird of Cleveland.com:

"“I’m not sure he ate solid food for three or four days after (the Clemson loss). He was crushed. … But that’s not why we lost that game.”"

A motivated Chris Olave will be a scary player next season. Olave may just be the best route runner in college football, and with another offseason to work with Brian Hartline on his craft look for Chris Olave to have one of the best seasons for an Ohio State receiver in recent memory.
