Ohio State Basketball: Buckeyes struggle again, lose 4th straight

Ohio State’s top scorers / Stats

The Buckeyes finished 17-52 and 32.2 percent on field goals and were 9 of 26 from beyond the three-point line (34.6).  They had 16 turnovers and 24 fouls.

Andre Wesson finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes.

Andre’s brother Kaleb finished with 11 points on 3-11 shooting, 10 rebounds and one assist.  He was 2-4 on threes and played 35 minutes.

D.J. Carton finished with 10 points off the bench with three assists and one rebound.  He was 3 of 9 on field goals, and 2-4 behind the arc.

Indiana stats

The Hoosiers shot 20 of 49 making 40.8 percent of their field goals.  They shot 50 percent from three going 6 of 12, had 35 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 steals and 11 turnovers.

Rob Phinisee had 13 points, going 5-12 on field goals and 3 of 4 behind the arc.  Phinisee also had seven rebounds and one assist playing 29 minutes.

Devonte Green finished with 19 points, five rebounds, and one assist off the bench.  Green played 28 minutes and was 3-9 from the field and 2-4 from three-point range.

Ohio State, (11-5, 1-4 in the Big Ten) , will head back to Value City Arena to host the Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-9, 2-3 in the Big Ten).  The Buckeyes are hoping to end this streak and get their first win of the new decade. Tip-Off is Tuesday 6:30 pm on Fox Sports One.
