Defensive End: Joey Bosa (2013-2015)
The first of the Bosa brothers to dominate the Big Ten, Joey finished his career with 26 sacks, five forced fumbles and an interception. During the 2014 National Championship run, Bosa led the Big Ten conference with 13.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss while becoming the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. Bosa was also a two-time consensus All-American.
Defensive End: Chase Young (2017-current)
Chase Young was unanimous selection to this team having won the 2019 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Bronko Nagurski Award, Chuck Bednarik Award and the Ted Hendricks Award. No.2 all time in Ohio State history with 30.5 career sacks, Young looks to close his career out with a 2019 National Championship.
Defensive Tackle: Michael Bennett (2011-2014)
Another unanimous selection, Bennett was instrumental during the Buckeyes 2014 National Championship run. With 18 career sacks and seven career forced fumbles, Bennett had a stellar career for the Scarlet and Gray.
Defensive Tackle: John Simon (2009-2012)
Simon played both tackle and end during his time as a Buckeye and was a great player and leader when he was helping usher in the Urban Meyer era. The 2012 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year had nine sacks during Ohio State’s undefeated 2012 campaign.
