We at Scarlet And Game make predictions for each Ohio State football game during the season. Now we will predict how the Big Ten Championship Game will play out.

This week there is a pretty big Ohio State football game on tap. With a win the Buckeyes are Big Ten Champions for the third straight year and secure a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Here are our Scarlet And Game predictions for this important game. We’ll get things started with Thomas Scurlock.

Ohio State is gunning for its third-consecutive Big Ten Football Championship.  Wisconsin stands in the way again.

We can forget what happened in the Horseshoe on October 26.  That game and score will not matter in this game.

I do not expect that we will see a normal Paul Chryst game plan.  He knows he’ll have to do something different to keep his team in the game and to have a shot at an upset.

Wisconsin’s whole playbook will be emptied.  Half-back tosses, Flea-Flickers, bootlegs and direct snaps.

There will be a lot of Jonathan Taylor too, but the Badgers cannot line up and expect to run the ball effectively without mixing it up a little.

The Buckeyes don’t have to change much to win this game.  They have the better team and players. They just need to play with the focus and determination that has carried the team this far.

As long as Ohio State protects the ball and shuts down Taylor again, I don’t see the score being too close.  I think that happens.

Buckeyes prevail 30-14.
