Ohio State Football: Buckeye fans should appreciate Fox analyst Joel Klatt

Ohio State’s football team has had many haters in the media over the years, but Fox’s Joel Klatt is the opposite of a hater – and we must appreciate him.
Through the years there have been a lot of haters of the Ohio State football program. One that of course comes to mind is former ESPN analyst Mark May.
May seemed to always pick against the Buckeyes or have a problem with the Buckeyes and OSU fans always gave him a hard time. Eleven Warriors even wrote a piece about some of May’s horrible Buckeye takes throughout the years.
That’s enough about May though. Ohio State football fans finally have someone who seems to have their backs. That guy is Fox college football analyst Joel Klatt.
Most recently, Klatt tweeted this week that he still had Ohio State as his No. 1 team in the country while everyone seems to be putting LSU in that spot after they beat Bama last week.
He has been loving the Buckeyes all year long though.
Klatt said the Buckeyes were the best team in the country back in September when they were ranked No. 5 in the AP poll. Klatt said that Ohio State did not have a weakness. You can watch him put Ohio State No. 1 in this video tweeted out by FOX College Football.
He has also been on our side through the Chase Young situation. Here is what he tweeted about the NCAA.
"Waiting to see the situation where a coach has to sit out a game while the NCAA looks into a situation of theirs…oh wait, that doesn’t happen…the players are the ones with no due process AND a restrictive LOI contractSeems fair!"
Klatt having our backs did not just start this year though. Back in 2017 Klatt said on the Big Ten Network that an agenda put the Buckeyes at No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings and he said that they were one of the two best teams in the country.
That team eventually was shocked by Iowa that season and missed out on the playoffs, but I think we all agree with Klatt that when that team was at its best it was one of the best in college football.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of the best football programs in the country and every year they have one of the best teams, even if they aren’t as respected in the media as Alabama and Clemson are. Klatt is on our side though. We need to appreciate this man. Thank you Klatt, you may have played college football at Colorado but you are an honorary Buckeye.
