We at Scarlet And Game make our predictions for the Ohio State football game each week. In Week 11 The Buckeyes take on the Maryland Terrapins.

Last week the Ohio State football team had a bye week so we made our predictions on key matchups in CFB. Blake Biscardi and I should have taken the week off too as we went with the losing team in all three games.

Thomas Scurlock (two wins) and Peter Burtnett (one win) predicted the winning team in each game. With Tom’s strong week he gets the honor of going first.

Ohio State puts its newly No. 1 ranking on the line, sort of, against Maryland.

The Terps last won on October 5 beating Rutgers.  Since that game, they’ve lost four straight by a combined score of 164-69.

The Buckeyes meanwhile are fully locked in on the stretch run to win the East. That spells trouble for the Terps.

Maryland ranks No. 102 in the FBS in defensive passing efficiency. Good luck trying to stop Justin Fields and this receiving corps.

The Terps are a little better against the run, but hardly good at it. If the line plays like it has all season, it is possible that J.K Dobbins and Master Teague both go over 100 yards.

I don’t expect any letdowns. Ryan Day said all the right things this week. The team knows what is at stake.

The line is crazy. 44 points is a lot to give, even against an inferior team.

I’ve been wrong almost all year, but I’ll call for the Buckeyes to cover.

Ohio State wins 55-9
