Ohio State Football: Top five scariest Buckeyes this season
By David Wysong
With Halloween around the corner a lot of scariness happens around this time of year, but nothing is scarier than these Ohio State football players.
There are a lot of scary movies and scary costumes that come out during this time of year. However, there are several scary players on the Ohio State football team that stay scary year-round.
Here are the top five scariest players on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Chase Young
OSU defensive end Chase Young is a six-foot-five, 265-pound locomotive coming around the corner trying to sack any team’s quarterback – that sounds scary enough.
Young already made a name for himself last season with 10.5 sacks but this year he has taken the next step as he already has 9.5 sacks through seven games. He has also forced three fumbles so far this year, surpassing the past two years combined.
Young is a top player on almost every NFL Draft big board and for good reason. It seems like every play Young is using his massive frame to make the tackle or play some part in it.
I don’t know about you, but I would not want to be an offensive player on any team playing the Buckeyes this year. Seeing Young line up across from me would be pretty frightening.
Jeffrey Okudah
Ohio State cornerback Jeffrey Okudah is one of the best defensive backs in the country. So much so that he was recently named a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award which honors the best defensive back in college football.
So far this year Okudah has 17 total tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble.
Can you imagine being a quarterback and having to worry about Chase Young sacking you while also worrying about Okudah possibly picking you off?
I am not a quarterback and that gives me nightmares.
These next three guys are also extremely scary.
