Wisconsin’s loss to Illinois makes them very dangerous. The Ohio State football team needs to be ready for Wisky’s best shot.

The Wisconsin Badgers got caught looking ahead last Saturday afternoon as they were knocked off by Illinois. The Ohio State football players and coaches should expect a Badger team ready to play on Saturday after that bad loss.

In all reality, Wisconsin may not be as great as their 38-0 win over Michigan State. Most of that game may have something to do with the Spartans having to play the Buckeyes in a drubbing on prime time television the week before.

But Wisconsin is most certainty not as bad as their 24-23 last second loss to Illinois. If you didn’t believe in teams looking ahead before that game, well maybe now you have changed your mind. Up 20-7 in the third quarter the Badgers put it on cruise control and they got snake-bit.

And guess what? Wisconsin is mad about it. The players are looking forward to responding. This from Badger247.com:

"“You have the right to choose what your response is,” junior center Tyler Biadasz said. “The backbone of this university and this team is to ball up your fists and fight back.”"

Leadership is key for Wisconsin right now. And the leaders are saying all the right things.

The Badgers’ best player, junior running back Jonathan Taylor, had this to say on Monday via Badger247.com:

"“How do you want to be defined as a team? When you’re winning, you have everybody on your side, everything is going well,” Taylor said. “Do you want to be defined as a team that lost and the season went downhill? Let that sting fuel you .”"

Good teams often come back strong after an unexpected loss. Look no further than 2017 when Ohio State lost to Iowa, and the following week came back to punish Michigan State 48-3. Urban Meyer had his team fired up to prove something.

Make no doubt about it, Wisconsin is coming into Ohio Stadium on Saturday with something to prove.
