Those of us at Scarlet And Game make predictions on the Ohio State football game each week and the one coming up is very interesting

Last week the Ohio State football team had the week off but those of us at Scarlet And Game didn’t. We made predictions on key Big Ten Games and one of us won both, giving him five wins on the season.

I’m not going to say who, only that my shoulder is sore from patting myself on the back.

Since my long time nemesis Thomas Scurlock, who smoked me last year, is having a rough season I’ll let him start the Week 8 predictions.

Tom:

A rare Friday night game for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has handled the road really well this year earning blowout wins over Nebraska and Indiana.  Will they make it a third?

The team is executing at a high-level and is locked-in on obliterating the demons from the last few seasons.

On the other side, Northwestern is having a down year.  A win over the Buckeyes would sooth its pain.

For the game to be remotely close, the Wildcats’ defense must hold its own because their offense is struggling.  The lack of playmakers is killing their execution.

I am sure their defense will give the Buckeyes a few fits, but I doubt it can sustain it for more than a half.

I expect Ryan Day and the leaders to have the team ready to go.

Ohio State takes control in the second quarter and runs away in the third. J.K. Dobbins and Master Teague both have huge games.

Buckeyes win 45-16.
