Peter:

Ohio State (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) travels to Lincoln in a match-up that is circled in ‘Husker red on head coach Scott Frost’s calendar. For Nebraska (3-1, 1-0), this is a chance to prove that they are not only contenders in the Big Ten West race, but contenders for the Big Ten title.

The Buckeyes have all the momentum going into this game, as they are coming off three straight victories of 41 points or more, while the Cornhuskers stagger into this game after a hard-fought 42-38 win over Illinois last Saturday.

For the Buckeyes to come out victorious, a start similar to the Florida Atlantic game will silence what will be a sold-out crowd. Against a defense that ranks 84th in passing yards allowed, Justin Fields should have no problem finding wide outs K.J. Hill, Chris Olave and Binjimen Victor while J.K. Dobbins slashes through the Blackshirts.

Defensively, the Buckeyes will have an early lead to protect and will go into the half with an even bigger one. Adrian Martinez is obviously a player to watch, but pressure from Chase Young and co. will limit his effectiveness greatly.

Ohio State could dominate and win by more than the margin I’m predicting, but Nebraska puts in one or two garbage-time TDs to give people predicting a Buckeyes cover a headache.
