Minnesota (-1) at Purdue

For the first time in his career, Rondale Moore was kept in check by TCU two weeks ago.  I don’t expect that to happen again.

Minnesota is 3-0, barely. All three games were tight and they probably should have lost to Georgia Southern.

Regardless, if you like offense, this might be the game to watch this week.  Neither defense can stop opponents from scoring.

While the Golden Gophers’ defense ranks No. 30 in total defense, it is giving up 29.3 points-per-game.

A primary reason is their red zone defense is dreadful ranking No. 119 allowing touchdowns 78-percent of the time.

Purdue’s defense is even worse giving up 30.7 points-per-game.

I am not sold on Elijah Sindelar, but he definitely gives the Boilermakers their best chance to win games.

If he’s out again, Minnesota will win.  If he’s back, Boilermakers win.

No word from Jeff Brohm yet if Sindelar has been cleared so I’ll say he plays.

Purdue 38-35.

Two other games should be blowouts.
