The key game in the Big Ten this week is Ohio State going on the road to play Nebraska but there are other interesting conference games on tap.

The Big Ten Conference race finally starts to heat up in Week 5.  Every team, except Iowa and Illinois, are matching up against conference teams.

Here are my game predictions for each Big Ten game:

Ohio State (-17.5) at Nebraska

Will this be the week that the Buckeyes finally have a competitive game?

The Cornhuskers have semi-limped out the gate this year.  That is a little unexpected, but not overly shocking.

Scott Frost’s rebuild will take a few seasons.  This is a stepping-stone season.

Nothing would advance his efforts more than a signature win over No. 5 Ohio State.

Justin Fields passed his first road test at Indiana two weeks ago.  The competition and environment rise dramatically in Lincoln.

His poise and the lines continuing to dominate will determine the outcome.

Cornhuskers come out swinging, but the Buckeyes take command before half and win comfortably.

Buckeyes 45-24.
