#7 Notre Dame at #3 Georgia — 8 p.m. ET on CBS at Sanford Stadium, Athens, Georgia

Line: UGA -14.5

The Fighting Irish (2-0) and Bulldogs (3-0) come into this game with Playoff aspirations. Both teams face an uphill battle, as Notre Dame, led by QB Ian Book, still has to face Virginia at home and Michigan on the road.

If the Irish can win this game, 10-2 will be an underachievement.

For the Bulldogs, led by  QB Jake Fromm, RB D’Andre Swift and a fantastic defense this game is a chance to grab a coveted non-conference win. Georgia will have to defeat Florida in neutral site action and Auburn on the road (before likely facing Alabama in the SEC Championship Game) to still have a shot at the CFP if the Bulldogs lose to the Irish.

Two years ago in South Bend, Georgia stole a 20-19 road victory to kick-start a season that took them all the way to the National Championship Game against Alabama. This year, Notre Dame doesn’t have what it takes to win but enough to beat the spread.

Georgia 27, Notre Dame 17

Now to a few other interesting match-ups this weekend.
