Ohio State Football: CFP predictions after Week 2, is the SEC that good?
No. 2 Alabama
Alabama played New Mexico State on Saturday and the result was to be expected. The Crimson Tide gained 603 yards of total offense, and Tua Tagovailo threw for 3 scores.
Alabama has an easy road ahead of them until they play Texas A&M on October 12th. Games late in the season against LSU and Auburn late in the season should provide plenty of intrigue though.
The unfortunate reality is that the Crimson Tide could lose one or both of those games and have a shot at the playoff. The perception of the SEC is the toughest opponent of every non-SEC team in the country.
If it’s a toss up between one loss teams at the end of the season does anybody think Alabama will be left out of the College Football Playoff? Nick Saban’s team will get the benefit of the doubt and will have a chance at another national title.
