Ohio State football: Big Ten West week 2 game predictions

Purdue (-7.5) vs. Vanderbilt

I have to say I am shocked by this line. I know the Commodores struggled to put up points against Georgia, but it is not like Purdue did anything to warrant confidence after blowing a 31-14 lead against Nevada last week.

To win this game, the Boilermakers will need to protect the ball. They had five turnovers against the Wolfpack.

I think Jeff Brohm will make this the Rondale Moore show. He’s the best player in the Big Ten and probably all of college football so Brohm needs to let him dictate the outcome.

Like Nebraska, this game has a must-win feel. TCU is up next for Purdue so there is a good chance of starting 0-3 again if it drops this game.

Unfortunately, I think that will happen.

Vanderbilt wins 30-27.
