Ohio State Football: Picking against the spread week 1
Ohio State football and there is a full slate of games this week. Once again I will be picking against the spread on games involving top 10 teams.
Even though this is the first week most college football teams take the field I am already 0-1 picking against the spread since Florida didn’t cover last week. Oh well, hopefully I’ll get things rolling picking games involving top 10 teams this week.
Point spreads provided by Bovada.
Alabama (2) by 34.5 over Duke: Alabama will win easily but I don’t like this spread the first game of the season. I’ll take Duke and the points.
Georgia (3) by 23.5 over Vanderbilt: This game won’t be close and Georgia will win by at least 24 points.
Oklahoma (4) by 23 over Houston: Way too many points here. I think this game could be close and Houston may pull off an upset.
Ohio State (5) by 29 over Florida Atlantic: Ryan Day’s squad will get the new era started off on a high note and Ohio State wins by at least 30.

LSU (6) by 28 over Georgia Southern: I don’t like the spread much but I’m high on the Tigers. I’ll take LSU and give the points.
Michigan (7) by 35.5 over Middle Tennessee State.: I don’t like this spread. I’ll take Middle Tennessee and the points.
Notre Dame (9) by 18.5 over Louisville: Notre Dame wins but I think this game could be a close one. I’ll take Louisville and the points.
Well, last week’s games got college football fans juiced and now we can indulge ourselves in games all day. I’m not sure how good my picks will turn out today but it was fun to have to make several.
College football is back guys and gals. What a great time of the year.
