Ohio State Football: Top 10 Buckeye running backs of all time
By Ian O’Brien
5) Chris “Beanie” Wells
This guy I really loved watching as a kid and I know now running backs in high school or college did too. Beanie Wells was something else when he played for Ohio State.
He would make history in 2007 scoring 15 touchdown the sixth highest in program history. During his career, Wells would rush for 3,382 yards and 30 touchdowns.
He went on to play four years in the NFL being a first round pick by the Arizona Cardinals, but injuries would set him back. He rushed for 2,741 yards and scored 24 touchdowns.
After another injury during a tryout for the Baltimore Ravens, Wells would not play another NFL game. He is now a host for radio station WBNS-FM in Columbus Ohio.
