6) Tim Spencer

Just like some others, I would have to put Spencer at this spot.  According to 247 Sports, Spencer is fourth on the Buckeyes running back list with 3,553 yards.

In his first season as a starter, Spencer started to make a name for himself rushing for 1,217 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns during his first season as a starter.  Then came his senior year and the breakout happened.

Spencer would rush for 1,538 yards while scoring 14 touchdowns the second most in school history. In total he rushed for 3,553 yards and scored 36 touchdowns.  Spencer would leave his legacy at Ohio State just like that.

Spencer went to the USFL and would play for three different teams, the Chicago Blitz, Arizona Wranglers and Memphis Showboats. He would then head to the NFL for six seasons with the then San Diego Chargers. His career stats ass a Charger was 1,792 yards and 19 touchdowns. Not a bad pro career.

Spencer would return to the Buckeyes as the running backs coach and then would help out coaching for the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
