7) Antonio Pittman

Not a lot of people have Pittman on their top 10 Ohio State running back list.  Pittman was a very good back and I think he earned his way onto the list.

In 2004, he would sit behind running back Lyndell Ross, but once it was his time to shine boy did he turn on the jets quickly.  In his three seasons, including 2004, he would have 22 touchdowns on the ground and 2,945 rushing yards just off of 3,000 yards during his career as a Buckeye.

Pittman would try to make a name for himself in the NFL being drafted by the New Orleans Saints but was cut shortly after.  He would then be signed by at the time St.Louis Rams and rushed for 435 yards in those two seasons.

He would head to the United football league shortly after playing a year with the Omaha Knights before the league folded.

Pittman is now a firefighter for Middletown Division of Fire in which Ohio State fans all around hope that he is liking it a lot.  This also says that if pro football doesn’t workout you should never give up, and instead find your other successful hobby.
