Top 10 Ohio State football games in the 21st century

7: Ohio State vs. Michigan (2006) 42-39
Nothing is better than “The Game,” especially when it’s the top two ranked teams in the nation facing off with two great coaches in Jim Tressel and Lloyd Carr. Not only that, but a Ohio State Michigan game under the lights!
I remember watching this game at my Grandma’s and it was back to back every possession and watching players like Ted Ginn Jr and Beanie Wells. Troy Smith during had four touchdown passes while Chad Henne for “The team up north,” had two.
The Buckeyes were up 21-7 but the Wolverines fought back with Henne and Mike Hart closing the lead to seven. The Ohio State defense later on would have trouble as Michigan would score and make the two point conversion.
Antonio Pittman would rush for a first down to put an end to this great rivalry matchup and the Buckeyes would win the Big Ten.
Not only that, both teams showed class throughout this game and paid tribute to the great Bo Schembechler who passed away a day before the game.
