Here is a look back at my favorite Ohio State football games this century. I am sure many of you watched these great games.

There have been many exciting Ohio State football games since the turn of the century. Many I watched when I was just a little kid and some scared me because I didn’t know if the Buckeyes would win at all.

Here is a look at some of my favorite games. I hope you enjoy this blast from the past.

10: Ohio State gets revenge on Texas 24-7 (2006)

I know there were more exciting games than this one, but I just had to put it on here at No. 10.  A year before Vince Young threw a game winning pass to Limas Sweed and the Buckeyes were looking for revenge.

In 2006 Ohio State came in ranked No. 1 against the defending national champs at the Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes got their revenge.

Troy Smith threw two touchdowns for 269 yards while Antonio Pittman rushed for 74 yards and score a TD. The defense would make a name for themselves too picking off Longhorns’ quarterback Colt McCoy and not letting Jamaal Charles score a touchdown.

This would be great redemption with Ohio State winning 24-7.
