Tonight, 32 former college football players will achieve their lifelong dreams in the NFL Draft. But who will be picked first, and who will follow?

32 players will hear their names called by Roger Goodell (there will probably be a few special guests who make picks as well) during the first round of the NFL Draft. Each will have achieved their lifelong dream of being drafted by an NFL team.

All players chosen will have high expectations, and many will achieve or run past those expectations and make so-called “experts” and general managers look like fools for taking them on the first night.

Here is a look at the players I think will have their names called tonight and at which spot they will be taken.

1. QB Kyler Murray, Oklahoma – Arizona Cardinals

Many see Kyler Murray being taken here, and I have to agree. Oklahoma goes back-to-back first-overall, Heisman-winning QBs.

2. DE Nick Bosa, Ohio State – San Francisco 49ers

If Bosa doesn’t go first overall to the Cardinals, he will still be drafted higher than his brother (3rd overall, 2016) and father (16th, 1987).

3. OLB Josh Allen, Kentucky – New York Giants (from NY Jets: trade 6th, 17th, and 95th for 3rd)

Surprising move here, Giants trade up for outstanding Allen, who could move up to DE, as many players have done in the past (see Pro Bowler Dee Ford).

4. DT Quennin Williams, Alabama – Oakland Raiders

Excellent addition to a DT position that struggled last season for the Raiders.

5. ILB Devin White, LSU – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I have to agree with Mel Kiper Jr. here, White stays in the South for team that needs to improve.
