Ohio State Basketball: Buckeyes end of season awards
Sixth Man of the Year: Keyshawn Woods
Calling Keyshawn Woods a sixth man is a bit of a stretch as he started games for the Buckeyes for much of the back half of the season. But since he wasn’t one of the four players that started over 28 games for the Buckeyes this season, I included him in this award.
Woods was a huge offensive option for the Buckeyes, especially late in the season as he scored double-digit points in each of his last four games as a Buckeye. Including 19 in that huge win against Iowa State in the first round of the tournament.
It is a shame that this is all Buckeye fans will see of him as he was a graduate transfer from Wake Forest.
Honorable Mention: Musa Jallow
Jallow was another player who sometimes started but other times came off the bench. He didn’t put up huge stats but brought plenty of energy when he was on the floor, especially on the defensive end.
