Purdue vs. Old Dominion

Tom:  This game depends on which Carsen Edwards shows up.  If he plays well, Boilermakers roll. If not, game will be tight like most Purdue games.  I think he’ll deliver setting up a potential Round of 32 with defending national champion Villanova.

Blake:  Purdue is undefeated as a top-4 seed in the first round and I think that streak continues with an easy win over Old Dominion.

Shayne:  The story of head coach Jeff Jones battling through a tough battle with Prostate Cancer and helping his Old Dominion team receive an NCAA Tournament bid is an inspiring one. However, Matt Painter’s crew is just going to be too much to handle.

Carsen Edwards should light up the NCAA Tournament much like he lit up the Big Ten this whole season.

CL:  A couple of weeks ago I thought Purdue could possibly be a final four team. With inconsistent play of late I think the Boilermakers could be ripe for an upset, but I will still go with Matt Painter’s crew to pull out a close win. It’s difficult to bet against coach Painter and his star Carsen Edwards
