If you are going to say anything about this Rutgers team, it won’t be that they don’t have heart. Yes, the Scarlet Knights have now lost three in a row after a 12 point defeat to the Michigan Wolverines, followed by a loss to the streaking Illinois Illini. However, they have put up a solid fight against a Big Ten Conference that could have as many as 10 teams make The Dance this season.

Four wins in this conference is nothing to be disappointed about especially with a lot of season left. Rutgers will take on Northwestern and Iowa in week 15.

Nebraska has now lost 7 in a row and things just don’t seem to be getting for a Tim Miles’s squad that overachieved in the non-conference. Their first loss of the week came at the hands of the 24th ranked Maryland Terrapins squad and it was a game where the Cornhuskers were only able to put up 45 points.

Isaiah Roby and James Palmer Jr. combined for 32 points in the game while the rest of the team only mustered 13 points on the night. Nebraska then took on the top team in these power rankings, Purdue, and fell in that game as well 81-62. The Cornhuskers were in the predicted field of 68 for a majority of this season but that is now a distant memory. Nebraska will play Minnesota and Northwestern in week 15.
