Rutgers had it rolling to begin week 13 as they were able to secure a third Big Ten win in a row with a home win over Indiana. A three game in conference streak is something that the Scarlet Knights had yet to do since joining the Big Ten conference.

This streak of good basketball from propelled them all the way to the 11th spot in these rankings. It wasn’t all good news though as Rutgers would have the streak stopped by the Ohio State Buckeyes in a game where the Scarlet Knights hung around for a while, but just couldn’t get over the hump.

Nebraska has definitely hit a low point in their season coming in at 12th in these power rankings after a rough week 13. It started with a loss to Wisconsin on Tuesday, then a punch to the gut falling to Illinois on Saturday by the score of 71-64.

The Cornhuskers shot terribly from three in the loss as they could only muster 13 percent from long distance. Nebraska needs to string a lot of wins together now to have any shot at making the big dance comes in March.
