More from Ohio State Buckeyes

Illinois pulled off a monumental upset in week 12 getting their second Big Ten win over ranked Maryland. The Fighting Illini won the game by double digits and led for most of the game against the talented Terrapins.

But earlier in the week Illinois did lose handily to a Wisconsin team that is firing on all cylinders right now. There isn’t a ton left to play for at this point for the Illini but there is always pride and building towards next year to look forward to.

Penn State once again falls at the bottom of this list as the Nittany Lions continue to be the only team yet to get a win inside the conference. They only had one chance at finally getting in the win column this week and that one went begging falling on their home court to a Rutgers team that was playing unusually well.

I find it hard to believe that Penn State won’t come away with a conference win this season, but I also find it hard to see when it will come.
