2015 Stats: 289 Carries, 1,821 Yards, 23 Touchdowns, 206 Receiving Yards
Following Zeke Elliot’s impressive run of 696 yards in the final 3 games of 2014 the junior entered the 2015 season with Heisman expectations. The Buckeyes struggled at QB in 2015 as Cardale Jones and JT Barrett went back and forth and as Ohio State played in a number of close games but Elliott was there to bail them out.
The St. Louis native posted 100+ rush yards in all but one game in 2015, that being a 3 point loss to Michigan State when he then criticized the Ohio State coaches on twitter after only garnering 12 touches for 33 yards. Zeke would finish the season with 1,821 yards and 23 touchdowns, ranking 3rd in school history.
He wrapped up his Buckeye career 4th on the all time school record rush TD list posting 43 scores, 1 short of Eddie George.
