3. 2017 | JT Barrett Accounts for 47 Touchdowns

2017 Stats: 240/371, 64.7%, 3,053 Yards, 35 Touchdowns, 9 Interceptions, 165 Carries, 798 Yards, 12 Touchdowns

JT Barrett accomplished many things at Ohio State including a 45 touchdown freshman season the ended with a season ending injury versus Michigan in “The Game”. Barrett had yet to regain his freshman form until 2017 when he passed for 3,053 yards (4th in School History) and 35 touchdowns (2nd in School History).

Barrett also rushed for 798 yards and 12 touchdowns guiding Ohio State to a Big Ten Championship and a Cotton Bowl victory. Barrett’s top performance came against Penn State as he led a 4th quarter comeback for the ages completing his final 17 passes to guide OSU to a 39-38 victory.

He finished the game 33/39 for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns along with 95 rush yards.
