OLB: Pete Werner (JR), Baron Browning (JR)

MLB: Tuf Borland (Rs. JR), Justin Hilliard (Rs. SR)

OLB: Malik Harrison (Rs. SR), Dallas Gant (Rs. FROSH)

With a poor performance in 2018 this unit remains a question mark. But the Buckeyes return all 3 starters at LB with Malik Harrison (81), Tuf Borland (67) and Pete Werner (58) ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the team in tackles, and they provide plenty of experience.

Former 5-star prospect Baron Browning is very talented and switching to OLB is inevitable, but he may also find reps as MLB as playing time is up for grabs.

Ohio State will need to get more production and better play-making out of its linebackers in 2019.

Hopefully, now that these linebackers have had a full year of playing together, and a new position coach, they will turn things around.
